Hey moms…How many of you end up eating your kids leftovers instead of making yourself a balanced meal?

Guilty. ?

When it was just Addison and I, I lived on a steady stream of chicken tenders and pasta. Because… I was tired, and was not making myself a priority.

? So finally, I knew something had to change and started meal prepping again. If you’ve been following me for a LONG time you’ll remember when I was the meal prep queen, but like anything, it turned into a phase and seemed impossible to get back into the routine.

✅ So here are my top 3 tips to making meal prep work for you…

1️⃣Start small ! Start with just prepping breakfast or lunch for a couple days at a time. That way you always have something ready to go in the middle of a busy day

2️⃣ Shop once, cook twice. I would shop on Sundays (or use Instacart) and cook on Sunday and Weds. This took the stress out of having to figure out what to eat everyday because I had a plan.

3️⃣ Stick to basics. Simple ingredients, easy instapot recipes, salads, eggs, and rice can go a long way. No time to cook protein? Buy it pre-cooked.
