My face when people ask me what the best exercise is to get abs ?

You all know I am the queen of core exercises and yes, they will help you gets abs! But not if you ignore proper nutrition and overall wellness (we all have abs, it’s just a matter of if you can see them)

Okay cool… then tell me what to eat?

Restrictive diets are so last season (and ultimately lead to yo-yo dieting) but following the simple principles that I follow on a daily basis will not only help you lose extra body fat but will also get your gut in check so you can actually see those abs that you’ve been building.

Start here if you want to immediately make some changes in your diet to get results ➡️

1. Drink lots of water – not only does this help curb hunger but it will improve your digestion, get things moving and give you glowing skin.

2. Stop the snacking – think about why you are reaching for a snack? Are you eating out of boredom, routine or are you not eating enough during meals? I highly suggest eliminating snacks after dinner. If you’re eating enough during the day you shouldn’t need them.

3. Balance your diet – eating a healthy balance of carbs, fat and protein will not only help you lose the extra fat but will provide your body with the nutrients it needs to support your goals. Incorporate leafy greens, healthy fats, good quality protein and complex carbs. Don’t focus so much on how much you’re eating but WHAT you’re eating.

4. Cut back on processed food and sugar. We all know it’s not good for us. Not only does it mess with your digestion and gut biome but it’s empty calories that are taking the place of the healthy whole foods your body needs. Plan out your meals, use a meal planning app, keep your fridge stocked with groceries, and leave the sugary snacks at the store. If it’s not in your house you are way less likely to eat it.
