Does it really matter if you follow a workout program or just do your own thing?

YES. Not saying you can’t exercise perfectly fine on your own, but there are so many benefits to having a program to follow 🤗

With my programs I make sure…
1️⃣ You aren’t wasting your time doing things that aren’t addressing your goals.

2️⃣ You avoid overtraining. Following a program ensures you are constantly working different areas and are working in appropriate rest days

3️⃣ Removes the guilt from rest days. If it’s planned it makes it sense in your mind, rather than leaving you feeling bad for missing a day

4️⃣ Programs keep you accountable, even after falling off track. How many times do you miss a couple days and then end up not doing anything for a week because you aren’t quite sure where to start?

5️⃣ Programs help you avoid plateaus. Well designed programs gradually challenge you more as you get stronger. This is how you keep making gains, rather than just maintaining what you have.

6️⃣ Programs can always be modified. But it’s nice to have a framework to consult on the days you just don’t want to think 🤯 (this is my fav reason… I make up enough workouts for other people, I don’t want to have to think about my own)

7️⃣ Following a group program is fun! A little healthy competition can be motivating and it’s nice to see other people on the app crushing their goals as well.
